Synopsis
There are some market conditions where the ability to do the right thing matters. And there are others where the ability to not do anything matters more. Right now, both abilities matter. Again, over-analysis is sometimes more damaging than no analysis. So, have the ability to ignore street narratives, think rationally, and go against sentiment. This is not easy to do when everyone around you is lamenting the loss suffered in the past five months, and how much of a recovery has been made in the past 15 days. Now, you should have the ability to recognize that five months and 15 days of decline Vs 15 days of recovery is not the right comparison to make. In short, ability is sometimes more important than even funds.
Before you read further, understand this mantra of ours. That a rise in a company’s stock price does not mean the business is strong. And that a fall in stock price does not mean the business is weak. The ability to make a distinction between the stock price and the business and its growth path is extremely important. When everyone is bearish, the ability to make that distinction is what is needed to make that extra return from the stock

Waaree Energies shares will be in focus on Wednesday after the solar panel maker reported a strong Q4 performance, with net profit rising 34.1% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 618.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. In the same quarter last year, the company had reported a profit of Rs 461.5 crore. Revenue from operations jumped 36.4% to Rs 4,003.9 crore, up from Rs 2,935.8 crore in the year-ago period, according to the company’s regulatory filing. EBITDA more than doubled to Rs 922.6 crore in Q4 FY25, up 120.6% from Rs 418.3 crore in the same quarter last year. The EBITDA margin improved to 23% from 14.3% a year ago. The company produced 2.06 GW of solar modules in the fourth quarter, up from 1.35 GW in the same period last year. For the full year, module production reached 7.13 GW, compared to 4.77 GW in FY24.
