Biocon shares will be in focus on Tuesday after its subsidiary, Biocon Biologics, announced the launch of YESINTEK (ustekinumab-kfce) in the United States. The biosimilar alternative to Stelara marks a major milestone as one of the first to enter the US market. YESINTEK is approved for treating Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, plaque psoriasis, and psoriatic arthritis, offering patients a cost-effective alternative for managing chronic autoimmune conditions. It will be available in the same formulations as Stelara, including 45 mg/0.5 mL PFS, 90 mg/mL PFS, 45 mg/0.5 mL vial, and 130 mg/26 mL vial.
