Infosys Ltd, one of India’s leading information technology companies, could see strong buying on Friday, January 16, after several brokerage firms raised their target prices following a positive surprise from the company. Infosys lifted its constant-currency revenue growth guidance for FY26 to 3-3.5%, from the earlier 2-3% band, signalling a clearer improvement in demand conditions. Overnight, Infosys American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) surged 10% following the guidance upgrade. The improved outlook stands out against a challenging backdrop for large-cap Indian IT services companies, which continue to face cautious client spending, slower decision-making cycles, and sustained margin pressures from regulatory and wage-related costs.
