ACC shares in focus ahead of Q2FY25 earnings. Here’s what to expect from this Adani Group company

[hfe_template id='11223'] [ad_1] Shares of Adani Group owned ACC Limited are expected to be in focus on Thursday ahead of the company's Q2FY25 earnings announcement. The cement maker could report an year-on-year and sequential loss in its revenue and net profit figures, according to estimates by a couple of brokerages. Sharekhan has estimated ACC’s net sales figures at Rs 4,263 crore, which could go up by 4% on a YoY basis and 17.3% on a QoQ basis. The profit after tax (PAT) is seen to fall by 49% and 46% on a YoY and QoQ basis to Rs 197 crore. The operating profit margin (OPM) is expected at 10.2% in the July-September quarter, which may fall by 218 bps on a YoY basis and 295 bps on a QoQ basis, Sharekhan said. Meanwhile, Axis Securities estimates said that the company could report revenue of Rs 4,187 crore in the July-September quarter, which could decline by 6% on a YoY basis and 19% on a QoQ basis. IT stocks surge up to 26% in 3 months; Infosys, Coforge, TCS among top brokerage bets

Midcap counter Coforge and Infosys are among the leaders in the pack with a lone exception in Wipro, which has seen its share price erode. Coforge tops the chart with 26% returns in the past three months and is followed by largecaps LTIMindtree (20%) and Infosys (18%). HCL Technologies, Persistent Systems, Tech Mahindra and Mphasis have delivered double-digit numbers between 18% and 12%. TCS and L&T Technology Services (LTTS) have yielded over 7% and 2%, respectively. Meanwhile, Wipro has seen its share price erode by 1.5%. With the exception of LTTS and Wipro, the rest have outperformed the broader Nifty index, whose returns in the same period stand at 3.3%.
