Shares of agriculture and fertiliser stocks jumped up to 9% intraday on Tuesday after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced Rs 1.52 lakh crore provisioning for agri and allied sectors in the Budget. In the Budget speech, Sitharaman said the government in partnership with states will promote digital public infra for agriculture.
