11,000% rally! Smallcap multibagger stock turns Rs 10,000 to Rs 11 lakh in 10 years

Refex Industries, which is into manufacturing of refrigerant gases, has seen a stellar rally in its stock in the last 10 years, rising as much as 11,000%. If an investor had invested Rs 10,000 in the stock 10 years ago and stayed put, the investment would have jumped to 11 lakh, according to an analysis by ET Markets. On Friday, its share price was Rs 152.40, up from Rs 1.37 10 years back. However, in the recent past, the rally has whittled down a bit. For instance, in the last six months, the shares rose 33% and are up about 44% in the last one year period. Refex Industries, which is smallcap company with a market value of just over Rs 1,600 crore, started as a manufacturer of air-conditioning gases.
