Nykaa shares rise 3% after Q3 results. Should you invest?

Nykaa shares surged 3% to their day's high of Rs 174.60 on the BSE on Tuesday after the omnichannel fashion and beauty retailer reported a 61% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 26.12 crore, falling short of the Street estimate of Rs 36 crore. Meanwhile, revenue was in line with expectations, rising 27% YoY to Rs 2,267 crore. The company reported an EBITDA of Rs 141 crore for the October-December 2024 quarter, with margins for the same period standing at 6.2%. Both metrics were in line with expectations. On a sequential basis, profit after tax (PAT) more than doubled from Rs 10 crore reported in the preceding September quarter.
