Stock market traders, who were against the NSE's proposal to extend trading hours in the derivative segment, are now having to deal with at least three working Saturdays in the calendar year 2024 so far. Stock exchanges NSE and BSE have decided to conduct a special live trading session tomorrow as part of a test to check whether the markets can function properly from a disaster recovery site in case the primary site is hit by a black swan event. Stock market timings on Saturday The special session, which will involve an intra-day switchover from the primary site to the disaster recovery site in equity and equity derivatives segments will be divided into two sessions. In the first session from the primary site, timings would be from 09:15 am till 10 am.
