EaseMyTrip shares sink 19%, hit 52-week low after promoter offloads nearly 3% stake

Shares of travel aggregator EasyMyTrip, owned by Easy Trip Planners, fell 19% to a day’s low of Rs 33.14 on the BSE after the company’s promoter, Nishant Pitti, offloaded a 2.7% stake in the company. It was previously reported that Pitti might offload a stake of up to 8.5%. The official parties involved in the transaction are not yet known. As of June 2024, Nishant Pitti held 28.13% of the company’s equity, according to data available on the exchange website. A total of 64.3% of the equity in the company is held by the promoter and the promoter group, while the remaining 35.7% is held by public shareholders.
