Shares of Moschip Technologies surged as much as 10% on Friday to a 52-week high of Rs 244.79 on the NSE, extending their winning streak to a sixth straight session and pushing weekly gains to 42%. The Hyderabad-based semiconductor company’s rally has been underpinned by record trading volumes and renewed investor optimism following the government’s push to strengthen India’s semiconductor industry. The stock has seen an unprecedented surge in activity, with more than 5 crore shares changing hands on Thursday, following 1.7 crore shares each on Wednesday and Tuesday. Friday’s session had already clocked 1.4 crore shares in early trade, far surpassing the 20-day average of 10 lakh shares.
