The Indian stock markets, which had a roller coaster ride in 2024, produced 33 of the biggest wealth creators. These stocks have a market capitalization of Rs 5,000 crore or more and have delivered multibagger returns ranging from 315% to 104%. Among the major stocks are Trent, Zomato, PB Fintech (Policybazaar), Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), Cochin Shipyard, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, KFin Technologies, Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS), Kalyan Jewellers, Wockhardt, and Dixon Technologies. Zomato, which recently entered the Sensex, gained 121% in CY2024, with its market capitalization increasing by Rs 1.55 lakh crore to reach Rs 2.63 lakh crore. Trent, a lifestyle and fashion company from Tata’s stable, saw its stock price rise by 131%, while its market capitalization surged by Rs 1.42 lakh crore to Rs 2.51 lakh crore.
