Coal India shares rally 3% after target prices go up to Rs 600 on Q1 beat

[hfe_template id='11223'] [ad_1] Shares of the state-owned Coal India on Thursday rallied 3% to its fresh 52-week high of Rs 539.90 after the company reported 4% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its consolidated net profit to Rs 10,959 crore for the quarter ended June 2024. Revenue from operations during the April-June 2024 period was up marginally to Rs 36,465 crore. Operationally, the company’s production of raw coal increased to 189 million tonnes in the first quarter as against 175 million tonnes in the previous-year period. Meanwhile, the offtake too improved to 198 million tonnes in Q1FY25 versus 186 million tonnes in Q1FY24. Sobha ltd Block Deal: Sobha shares fall over 4% amid block deal

While the buyers and sellers in the transaction are not confirmed, media reports suggested that Anamudi Real Estate LLP, wholly owned by the Godrej family, is likely to sell 5% of its 9.9% stake in Sobha through block deals. At 10:13 am, Sobha shares were trading nearly 3.2% lower at Rs 1,803 on the BSE. Despite this dip, the stock has surged 190% over the past year and more than 80% year-to-date. In comparison, the BSE Sensex has delivered returns of around 21% over the past year. According to Trendlyne data, the target price for the stock is Rs 1,804.
